The Academy of Magics is located in [[Zul]] on Zorander Isle. It was founded by [[Zedicus the Seer]]. Upon entry, students are formally induced into the 20th order of wizards (the lowest attainable level). Upon graduation students may potentially increase in order.

Life at the academy is very intense and students are expected to fully devote themselves to mastering the art of magic. Research and practice take up every moment. Students are expected to work constantly. They only get one day off per month, Student's Day, where they are allowed to relax and venture into the city.

Entry into the Academy of Magics is closely related to the [[Mages Guild]] because it is at the academy where wizards learn the necessary skills they will use throughout their magic career and as members of the Mages Guild.

Students cover important topics such as:

		+	The Academy is organized into departments. Each of the departments oversees a specific discipline of magic, or domain of academic life. The most prominent departments are:

		+	* Librarium - which is tasked with preservation and care of magical tomes, scrolls and documents

That said, at times said department had as many as seven members, all of whom were copies of Aldic from different points in time.
