As opposed to the [[Calendar]], many Dwarf Clans have their own name system for the measurement of time. In the Dwarven Calendar, the months and seasons were named after various types of metals.

The year has four seasons and 12 months. The month names are as follows:

They recognized two major seasons: Lean and Prosper. During Lean, they would hunker down, and farm cave mushrooms and subterranean livestock. During Prosper, they would venture outside, let their livestock graze on the slopes, forage, and trade for exotic foods.
