The Council of Seven is believed to be the name of the group of mortal leaders who conspired against the [[Legend of Paragons|Paragons]], planned and executed the [[Purge]].

The members of the council seized power after the purge and became ruthless tyrants of the Dark Ages. Names of several of them have been lost as their empires collapsed and their memory was erased from the history.

The most notable of the Seven was the Human Councillor [[Darius Corellius]] who ruled his empire for centuries, using dark magic to extend his lifespan. He was eventually overthrown and his empire collapsed about six to eight hundred years after the Purge.
