Companions of the Palid Mask are a group of Jergal clerics who specialize in combating and commanding the undead.

Their have a dual role which involves both extermination and raising the dead.

The Companions are sworn to destroy any and all undead which have not been sanctioned by the Jergal priesthood and created using proper rituals rendering them unpredictable and impure. Many members of the group specialize in this task becoming exterminators and hunters of the undead.

Their other role involves raising, mending and supervising the undead who will be put to work for the good of the church and humanity as a whole. They are taught sacred incantations that allow them to imbue the cadavers with divine power and ensure they remain obedient and docile.
