Kylee O'Ren's parents were murdered when she was a young child. As a result she was raised by her uncle of the Strongbrow Clan.
Not much was known about the circumstances of their deaths.
Locking eyes with Squidface caused Kylee to enter a flashback and witness this event firsthand. It appeared to be the result of a heist gone wrong.
