As opposed to the Calendar, many Dwarf Clans have their own name system for the measurement of time. In the Dwarven Calendar, the months and seasons were named after various types of metals.

Months and Seasons

The year has four seasons and 12 months. The month names are as follows:

4) Slate (April) Steel (Spring)
5) Felsite (May) Steel (Spring)
6) Hematite (June) Gold (Summer)
7) Malachite (July) Gold (Summer)
8) Galena (August) Gold (Summer)
9) Limestone (Sept) Copper (Autumn)
10) Sandstone (Oct) Copper(Autumn)
11) Kematite (Nov) Copper (Autumn)
12) Mithril (Dec) Silver (Winter)
1) Gromil (January) Silver (Winter)
2) Steelstone (Feb) Silver (Winter)
