Icky Ring

Icky ring is an ancient ring of summoning that was found by Zorry Feathermoon inside the Lost Dwarf Fortress. It was previously used by Overseer Flint Slate. The ring bears an inscription in Dwarven which is the ring's command phrase. Anyone wearing the ring can read the phrase to unleash it's power.

Requires Attunement: no
Charges: once per day
Weight: 0

While wearing this ring, you can speak its command word as an action to summon Ikky the Imp. The Imp appears in an unoccupied space you choose within 120 feet of you. It remains as long as you concentrate (as if concentrating on a spell), to a maximum of 1 hour, or until it drops to 0 hit points. It then returns to its home plane.

While summoned, the Imp is friendly to you and your companions. It can converse with you, no matter what language you use. If it is the first time you summoned it, it asks you to sign a contract binding you to it's master in return for it's service. In addition to performing various tasks for you the Imp is a conduit of power of the master, and can grant wishes on their behalf.

If you fail to give it any commands or instructions after summoning it, it defends itself against attackers but takes no other actions other than complaining about being interrupted.

After the Imp departs, it can’t be summoned again for 24 hours.
