Zul
Zul is the largest city on the Zorander Isle.
This city hosts the location of the Main Guild Hall of the Mages Guild and the Academy of Magics where wizards study and conduct magical research.
Description
The city of Zul has special magical defenses. The Academy of Magics are mostly warded against magic to ensure the attending students do not cause damage to the university, their fellow students, or themselves while they are still learning to correctly utilize their powers. The entire city of Zul is also warded against magic, but these wards are only activated once a month on Student Day. On this day students are allowed leave into the city. Magic use is banned on Student Day and the magic protection wards are activated across the entire city. These measures are in place due to a past event, the Student Riots of 9,628.
