Magical Tapestry Portals are magical tapestries that act as portals to either other planes, pocket dimensions, or different area on the same plan and in the same world. They appear to be one way portals that have a set destination, depicted by the artwork in the center of the tapestry.
To use these portals, one must simply step into them. To be used effectively, one needs at least two tapestries: one for the destination, and one for returning home. Some tapestries require specifically created Key Stones and remain locked to anyone who does not carry one.
Their creators and the exact method of their creation is unknown, though their creators may have been the paragons. They appear to be made of metal fiber, and must have been made by very complicated magic unknown in the present day and age.
Two of these tapestries are found in Lord Aiden's Mansion and many more in the Extraplanar Portal Hub.
Samuel Summers noted that exploring the tapestries in the hub is dangerous, because not all of them are guaranteed to have a return tapestry on the other side. He also mentioned that some of the places you can get to via the Hub lie on different planes, and time there flows differently. It is therefore easy to get stuck in one of such places for a few minutes only to realize entire centuries have passed back at home.
It does seem to be possible to carry a Tapestry through another one, so a traveler could theoretically carry a return portal with them when they go exploring, if they don't mind leaving it wherever they end up.
