Flumph Librarian
Floops are large, intelligent, cephalopod like creatures that inhabit the extraplanar pocket dimension where Lord Aiden's Study is located.
They have large eyes with black pupils, and soft, purple pigmented bodies and many short tentacles they use to manipulate the objects around them. They appear to be capable of surviving in the vacuum, and seem to be perfectly comfortable propelling themselves through it using swim like motions.
Several Floops appear to be working as clerical staff and security in Lord Aiden's Study. At least one of those Floops is trained to act as a librarian. It typically sits on the pedestal in Lord Aiden's Library, greets visitors and directs them to appropriate book shelves. It is also responsible for alerting the Cartaker Modrons if the library is being invaded by undesirable outsiders.
Another Floop appears to periodically patrol The Winding Walkway.
Floops are always outside of the magical force fields that surround the Steelstone platforms of the study, and they never interact directly with the beings on the inside. They do not seem to be capable of speech, but The Librarian can communicate telepathically with the visitors when it is on the Pedestal.
