Verner Clan

​The Verner Clan is a cut-throat merchant family with grandiose political aspirations and links to criminal activity in the city.

The family's goal has for the last few centuries has been for Verners to become Fynwell’s newest Great House and obtain a seat in the House of Lords. This is a lofty goal, since lordship has not been granted to anyone in thousands of years, and ten seats in the House have been vacant after noble lines that occupied them have died out. Verner's intend to be the first new Great House in modern times.

To reach that goal, the family has spared no expenses, lobbying, networking and intermarrying into most influential families and infiltrating crime organizations.

They sit at the Shadow Council and control the street gang known as the Quillons.

The current head of the family is Vigo Verner.
