Grunslik Tar is a Fynwell crime lord. His base of operations is the Flyside district, but his reach extends to almost entire Dog Fenn district, and small parts of Dockside. Grunslik is a Guild Secretary of the Thieve's Guild (Fynwell). He handles most of disreputable activities in his region, with the exception of human trafficking (which is against the Guild Code), gambling (which is controlled by Barkers) and waterway smuggling which is run by River Rats.
Grunslick is an art collector. He hired Harlan Underford and Redbeard Pete to steal specific set of paintings from the Karlsberg family mansion in Lichford Hills. This mission ended in a tragedy, resulting in deaths of two guild members. Grunslik is aware that Harlan and Pete survived, and might be in a position to expose him if captured by the Karlsbergs. He has put out a price on both of their heads.
